WHAT IS A tea LIBRARY?

Our tea library was inspired by our seed library and similarly they hold plants we have harvested from the gardens. In honor of our 10 year anniversary, we collaborated with queer artist & CPS math teacher, Trần Lê Diễm Châu, in 2023, to build our tea library in collaboration with the student leaders’ sketches of what they wanted the tea library to look like. Our tea library is a sibling to our seed library. It was first revealed at our 2024 Spring Seed Swap.
The tea library is showcased at our Seed Swap, Harvest Festival, events with the CCUSC, and community events. We have various herbs such as Lemon Balm, Anise Hyssop, Yarrow, Marigold, Raspberry leaf, Mullein, Lemongrass, Marshmallow, Calamint, Russian Sage, and so much more.
