• 10 shells
  • 1 pound of turkey ground
  • chili powder
  • Garlic powder
  • sofrita
  • Seasoning 
  • Adobo
  • Cheese
  • Your choice of oil(prefereed olive oil)


  1. Put turkey ground into a skillet or pan
  2. Add chili powder, garlic powder season Adobo
  3. Cook turkey ground until brown.
  4. Once brown add sofrita, mix into the meat.
  5. Take the meat and cheese and place it in the center of the shell
  6. Fold the shells
  7. Take a fork and press the two end of the shell down.
  8. Heat a small amount of oil (coating the bottom of the pan) into the pan
  9. Place the filled shells into the hot oil,
  10. Wait till brown on one side and flip over. Empanada is done when brown.
